As February nears, several projects of mine that have been months if not years in the making will all be rolling out around the same time. First will be the new production of Fox Cried, the off-the-wall theater piece for which I’ve written music and in which I’ll also be acting–yes, acting–alongside co-creators Jack Novak and Jane Claire Remick. The show opens on Friday, January 30th.
Next is the Baltimore release show for Wind Divine’s EP, which will be followed a few weeks later by a release show in DC.
After that, I’ll be releasing my album, which will be available on CD and for digital download. Vocalist Wanda Perkins, Wind Divine’s singer and songwriter, is the lead vocalist on the album. It also features invoke, the hot new string quartet in town, and a cast of other superb musical characters.
Finally, on February 22nd, Marian McLaughlin and I will join forces with various outstanding musicians for Land, Air and Sea, our chamber-folk-rock extravaganza that is part of University of Maryland’s Common Tone concert series.
Aside from that, you can catch me with cello rocker Wytold, gypsy jazz vocalist Mary Alouette, and Irish singer Áine O’Doherty.
Details for all these performances are given under SHOWS below, and I’ll continue to spread the word via email and the other usual channels.
